A Weak Start. U.S. stock-index futures were pointing to a lower open after last week’s gains. Markets in Asia closed down after a day of violence in Hong Kong. The Hang Seng in Hong Kong fell 2.6%, its sharpest decline since August. European indexes were also lower. The U.S. Treasury market is closed for Veterans Day.
