Science Fiction movie futures need to predict futures with awesome and shocking images. They in general are destined to get it wrong in their images. This was true for the 2015 of Back to the Future, 2001 A Space Odyssey and Bladerunner. Bladerunners city images do look more like the megacities in Asia.
