A Step Back on China. U.S. stock-index futures were higher as a Treasury Department spokeswoman said the department has no plans to limit portfolio investments in China “at this time.” News that Treasury was considering such an idea rattled stocks on Friday. Stock markets in Asia ended largely lower, while markets in Europe were little changed.
