Lesley Robinson, chief executive of British Marine, said: 'The UK is the third-largest builder of superyachts in the world and these new figures show that 'British-built' continues to remain in high demand.' Two-thirds of sales come from abroad. The US took 41 per cent of exports, and orders from south-east Asia and the Middle East are on the rise.
