"There was a bit of position unwinding in Asia. After all, the impeachment process could take months. Still, it's not good news (for the dollar)," said Koichi Kobayashi, manager of currency trade at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Bank. The dollar ticked up 0.2% to 107.28 yen, having slipped to a two-week low of 106.
