BANGKOK Asian shares were mostly higher on Friday after a lackluster session on Wall Street, as investors shifted their focus to China-U.S. trade talks after a busy week of central bank news. Japan’s Nikkei 225 index gained 0.4% to 22,135.98 and the Shanghai Composite index rose 0.2% to 3,004.48. The Kospi in South Korea climbed 0.
