SAIPAN, CNMI (Marianas Variety, April 25) –Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands are now recognized as key transit points in smuggling drugs from Asia to the mainland and this has resulted in an increase in violent crimes in the region, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency disclosed in its latest study.
