SINGAPORE - The U.S.-China trade war and the broadening application of tariffs by both countries on the other, is having a significant impact on economies around Asia. Manufacturing sentiment across the region remained weak during August with purchasing manager indexes in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan continuing in negative territory.
