Kathmandu has one of the fastest rates of urbanisation in South Asia, with an annual urbanisation rate of 3.94 percent . As the city expands, its tentacles spreading out and engulfing the surrounding hamlets, fields and forests, it wouldn’t be inaccurate to assume drastic changes are yet to come.
