Two more Royal Navy warships - HMS Kent and HMS Defender - have returned to action, with one heading to the Gulf to protect shipping from the threat posed by Iran. An RN spokesperson said: "Portsmouth-based warships HMS Kent and HMS Defender left their homeport to embark on operations to the Gulf and Asia Pacific respectively.
