(Bloomberg) -- Stocks in Asia are likely to extend a global sell-off on the escalating U.S.-China trade war which sent American shares to the biggest drop this year and sparked a rally in bonds. Gold climbed and the yen held gains. Futures from Tokyo to Sydney were down more than 1%, indicating sharp declines when markets open.
