| Fishers rescued after boat sinks |

Six fishermen were rescued by the Indian Coast Guard in coordination with MV Asia Emerald-III on Sunday, following a distress message about the sinking of a fishing boat named Aachariyamatha, approximately 35 miles off Kollam. The distress message was received at 2 p.m. by the Coast Guard district headquarters (Kerala and Mahe) here.
