The council will interview candidates at the 3 p.m. work session at the Waco Convention Center’s Bosque Theatre and could swear in the replacement at Tuesday’s 6 p.m. business session.
East Waco accounted for the majority of the applicants, but the Cameron Park, MCC and Timbercrest neighborhoods are also represented.
