Officers were called to 3405 Woodland Avenue around 12:30 a.m. on a report of a domestic disturbance. They discovered a man in the parking lot of the apartment complex with a gunshot wound. West Des Moines police identified the shooting victim as David Hysion Jones, 18, of Des Moines resident.
