EAST LONGMEADOW — The East Longmeadow Lions Club last week presented its Distinguished Citizen Award to local resident Thomas McGowan. "Tom McGowan is a longtime volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, most recently being instrumental in the building of a home on Allen Street in Springfield," a Lions Club statement says.
