The shofars were blown by Pastor Philip Missick and Elder Butch Dow of King of Saints Tabernacle and Pastor Kent Brown of Covenant House Church. After an opening prayer and welcome, County Judge Jay Knight offered a proclamation and in it, reminding worshipers that this practice has been a part of American fiber, even before its founding.
