CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The heavy rain across the Carolinas has toppled dozens of trees across the area.
In Charlotte, a large tree fell on a house in the Elizabeth neighborhood. The tree is so large the roots buckled the pavement on the street when it fell along E. 5th Street and N. Laurel Avenue. No one was injured.
