| Bayelsa lake owners accuse Shell of pollution |

Simon Utebor. Owners of Oya Lake in Ikarama, Okordia clan of Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, have accused Shell Petroleum Development Company of polluting their lake with oil spillage. They also demanded a clean-up of the lake, claiming that the earlier remediation done by the oil firm was shoddy.
