| Japan seeks to remove first 'Girl Statue' in Europe |

By Yi Whan-woo Japan is taking steps to remove a girl statue symbolizing victims of Japan's wartime sex slavery, which was set up in Germany last week, a Korean activist in Germany said Wednesday. Japan's move comes as activists are stepping up efforts to install more statues in the United States and Europe in addition to Korea.
