Before he died, Stephen Swearingen worked with the Oregon Humane Society to make sure his two cats, Cali and Tallulah, would be cared for and adopted by good families after he was gone. Tallulah has been adopted. Cali is still available. (Tom Hallman Jr./The Oregonian)
