| 'God spared my life': She survived shooting herself in the head |
|
That evening, Melissa had told a neighbor to call 911 and tell the police to come into her home. She told the neighbor the door would be unlocked. When the police arrived, an officer entered and called her name. Melissa was in her bedroom, upstairs, lying in bed. The officer climbed the steps, and as he reached the top step she shot herself.
