In his Inauguration Day address, President Donald Trump gave the city of Detroit a brief shout out. "We all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American flag," Trump said in his speech. "And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the wind-swept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky.
