Bernie and Jean Niemeyer were married Jan. 27, 1949, in DeMotte, Indiana. Bernie, 90, served as a Christian Reformed pastor for 38 years while Jean, 87, worked at his side as a pastor's wife. They have six children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild with another on the way.
