Larry Koger, R.I.P. Larry Koger wore two hats — and, as photos show, the occasional set of goat ears. Like the ears, both hats fit him well. “Both have to do with community,” he told me in 2013, when he was an interim Lutheran pastor and co-owner of La Mesa ’s West Coast Barbecue & Brew.
