The Rev. Michael Trail presided over his first Christmas Mass before a crowded St. Damian Church in Oak Forest on Sunday, but he said the large audience didn't make him nervous. "I love to see everyone coming together," the recently ordained priest said.
Trail also is one of the few black priests to have been ordained in the Chicago archdiocese.
