CATAWBA COUNTY, NC (WBTV) - A Catawba County pastor was killed after being hit by an impaired driver Tuesday night. The District Attorney announced Wednesday that driver, 31-year-old Zachariah Arthur Carl, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 43-year-old Michael Howard Vanderburg.
