Just weeks ago, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, said output was almost back to normal after a year of devastating attacks on oil and gas infrastructure in the Niger Delta region. But now it seems Kachikwu spoke way too soon about the 2.1 million barrel per day figure, reported AFP yesterday.
