Detroit Councilwoman Janeé Ayers handily defeated her challenger, the Rev. David Bullock, with all but one city voting precincts reporting this afternoon, the Detroit City Clerk's Office said today. Ayers had nearly 61% of the vote compared to Bullock's 38%, according to figures provided by the city's director of elections, Daniel Baxter.
