| Local gay pastor who lost job returns to pulpit for one Sunday |
|
A gay pastor who was pushed out of the United Methodist Church got back behind the pulpit on Sunday. Reverend Cynthia Meyer came out as a lesbian in January. Because the United Methodist Church does not allow gay pastors, she has been without a job. On Sunday, she was invited by the Country Club Congregational United Church of Christ to speak.
