A somewhat scattershot defense began Thursday (Oct. 27) for a former Milwaukee-based pimp accused of raping two child relatives three years ago in a New Orleans motel. Calvin Freeman, 55, is facing a potential life sentence as he stands trial this week on two counts of first-degree rape.
