MERIDEN — One speaker marched for civil rights in the 1960s, another comforted a community after the Sandy Hook shooting, and another led his congregation in forgiveness for a man who shot bullets into their mosque. About 50 people, mostly interfaith clergy members, attended a rally against violence Sunday afternoon at the Meriden Green.
