WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Members of West Springfield’s First Baptist church shared twin milestones with their longtime pastor this weekend. This is the 140th anniversary of the church, which was founded in 1876. This weekend also marked the 35th anniversary of Robert Smith’s tenure as pastor of this Baptist church.
