EVERY Friday and Saturday night, a group of men and women walk around Newport’s city centre handing out hundreds of lollipops and flip flops every month. For seven years, Newport’s Street Pastors have been a calming influence in the streets of the city; they talk, listen and re-assure those who are out in the streets.
