| Parliament halts Pastor Kakande’s Sand Mining Business |

The Parliamentary Committee on Natural Resources has stopped Aqua World Uganda Ltd, a company owned by Pr. Kakande of Synagogue Church of All Nations, from doing its activities in Kalungu district. The firm is accused of carrying out illegal sand mining business in the area which contradicts terms to which it was licensed.
