Wayne Bowden stood on the brick pavers leading up to Saint George's United Methodist Church, fumbling for the keys in his pocket. Sunlight flooded the sanctuary when he opened the doors. He flipped on a few light switches and rested his hand on the back of a pew. "It sure does look good in here," he said, looking around, pride evident in his voice.
