| Clown-related school threats a joke that ‘got out of control’; suspect arrested, police say |

A 17-year-old junior at Rogers High School in Puyallup was arrested by Pierce County sheriff’s deputies in connection with a series of clown-related threats Tuesday that locked down the school. The suspect reportedly started the threats as a joke with friends and it “got out of control,” according to a news release from the sheriff’s department.
