Townville Elementary is small and closely-knit, as is the town of about 4,000. There are 286 students and 18 teachers with classes from pre-K through sixth grade at the school. The entire school community was traumatized by the shooting. “It will stay with them,” Jennifer Ealey, a counselor with Anderson School District, said.
