When Jolinda Wade, mother of Bulls player Dwyane Wade, overdosed on drugs in the early 1990s, she was taken to St. Bernard Hospital and resuscitated. While she was there, a nurse asked her why she was living the way she was -- in and out of prison, homeless, and addicted to drugs -- and urged her to stop.
