| Homecoming to mark St. Margaret Mary’s 50th in Hamilton |
|
The order came down on July 4, 1966: it was time to start the new parish of St. Margaret Mary. After nearly 10 years of celebrating mass in the gym at St. Margaret Mary school as a satellite of Blessed Sacrament, the Catholic population on the Mountain east of Upper Ottawa had grown to the point that it could support its own church.
