A Belfast woman convicted of posting menacing messages online, including a suggestion that Muslims should be sent to the gas chambers, has avoided prison. Anne Bothwell received a suspended six-month jail term for a series of comments on the Protestant Coalition’s Facebook page, the Courts Service confirmed today.
