MARTINEZ -- An Alamo man has been accused of posing as a Las Vegas investor, a generous church benefactor, and a car salesman, in various schemes designed to defraud elderly women of more than $300,000. Ward Steven Caldwell, 55, was arrested Sunday and charged with felony financial elder abuse.
