| Iowa church leaders see decline in attendance, congregation |
|
As church attendance declines year after year, rural congregations are struggling to stay afloat. Farley's New Hope Lutheran Church closed its doors last month after 16 years in the community. The church failed to attract a full-fledged congregation over its decade-and-a-half existence, according to synod leaders.

Verse of the day
