Maoists killed a Church pastor and kidnapped a tribal youth from Chintur block bordering Andhra Pradesh and Chattisgarh late on Friday. While the Maoists branded the two as police informers, the police said Maoists had killed pastor Maraiah as he was carrying out religious conversions. Maraiah, 55, was beaten to death and his throat was slit.
