| Springfield church hosts picnic for homeless |

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A compassionate gesture by a Springfield inner-city church Saturday. A picnic in the park for the homeless. Progressive community Baptist church provided lunch at Forest Park for hundreds of homeless men and women. Social service agency personnel were also there to provide help for the homeless.
