CEDAR RAPIDS — Daniel Dennis’s whole family has worked in health care. His dad was a longtime doctor at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids and his sister is a nurse. So it made sense for him to one day work at Mercy, too. But Dennis, 33, is caring for people in a different way — he’s the hospital’s new head chef.
