| Religion & Culture | Archbishop-elect receives his symbol |
|
The mood within the local Roman Catholic Church community was euphoric last Wednesday as many watched, via television, Jamaican Archbishop-elect Kenneth Richards receive his pallium from the Holy Father, Pope Francis. The pallium is a woollen vestment, marked with six black crosses, which is worn only by the Pope and archbishops.
