St. Paul United Methodist Church, 5410 Corby St., will celebrate the Independence Day holiday with a single service Sunday at 10 a.m. in the church’s sanctuary. The celebration will incorporate the recognition of the appointment of the Rev. Scott Shreve as the 12th senior pastor in the church’s nearly 85-year history.
