SAN JOSE -- "Hey, brother!" Scott Wagers greeted James Marc Turnerwho poked his head out of the cluttered tent he lives in off Oakland Road. Actually, Wagers called all of the homeless people he encountered that day "brothers and sisters" as he made his way down a shady trail bearing much-needed gifts: granola bars, tarps and water bottles.
