| Wilkes County pastor missing in Linville Gorge |
|
Emergency crews are searching for a Wilkes County pastor who never returned from a day hike in Linville Gorge on Tuesday. Crews are searching along the Pinch In Trail for Ronald Brookshire, who went hiking by himself and has not returned to his car.
The 1.5-mile trail is notoriously steep and rugged, according to Hiking in the Smokys.
