| Recount confirms Robert Pittenger’s win in the 9th District |
|
Republican Mark Harris conceded the 9th District congressional primary Monday after a recount failed to give him enough votes to overtake incumbent GOP Rep. Robert Pittenger. The recount gave Harris two additional votes, apparently shaving Pittenger’s margin to 133 in the state’s closest U.S. House primary.
